Neighborhoods and Nature: A Community Photography Project

How to Participate

We invite Seattle residents and community members of all abilities to contribute to this collective vision. To have your work featured alongside our studio artists at Vibrant Palette, please follow these three steps:

1. Select Your Photos

Choose two physical 4x6 prints:

• Neighborhoods: One photo capturing your neighborhood.

• Nature: One photo inspired by the natural world - big or small, near or far.

2. Register Your Work

Before sending your prints, please complete our online registration form. This ensures we have the correct titles for your pieces and other information.

Sales & Donations: This is a grassroots, community supported exhibit. You may choose to mark your work "Not For Sale" or donate the proceeds to support VPAC’s programming for artists with disabilities.

3. Submit Your Prints

Deliver your physical 4x6 prints to us by Wednesday, May 6th. We provide the frames!

In-Person: Visit the Vibrant Palette studio at Equinox Studios during our open studio hours:

• Tuesdays: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Wednesdays: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM

About the Project

"Neighborhoods & Nature" is a collaborative community art project bringing together local residents and the artists of Vibrant Palette Arts Center to showcase a collective portrait of Seattle.

This project is proudly supported by a Small Sparks Grant through the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, which helps neighbors turn creative ideas into community-building actions.
